Malignant development in children can occur everywhere in the body, including the blood and lymphatic system, the brain and spinal cord, the kidneys, and other organs and tissues. Cancer can be malignant or benign. A severe malignant tumour will develop in one place of the body and may metastasize to other regions. While a benign tumour may enlarge, it won't metastasize.
