Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine

Neonatology is a field of medicine that deals with the treatment of infections in newborn children as well as the care of these infants. Major organs including the heart, lungs, stomach, and skin might not be enough developed to function on their own. A paediatrician can handle the majority of children's medical problems, while a neonatologist manages risk factors and high-risk conditions.
